Welcome to Merrylea Herefords

We run a herd of 200 registered cows, in conjunction with sheep, on 500 hectares under the foothills at Cave, South Canterbury. We aim to breed meaty cattle for the beef industry with balanced EBVs, and to finish all progeny.

Merrylea has been established for 50 years and is now in the third generation of the family.
